Inaugurated in 1997, the Museum of Music occupies 750 square meters of the Cité de la Musique - Philharmonie de Paris, built by architect Christian Portzamparc. Its collection of several thousand instruments and works of art retraces the history of music, from the 17th century to today.

The museum’s redesign in 2007 was the result of a strategy aiming to expand the audience, increase access to knowledge about music and instruments, and to enable visitors to listen to compositions in a tour setting. The transformation allowed for the development of new spaces and a new presentation that provides better context for the works. The new display includes an audiovisual tour, for which the general soundtrack is available thanks to the individual audio guide synchronized with the screens and videos.

Reciproque’s mission was to support the Museum of Music team with defining the multimedia needs, selecting the equipment and producers, and launching the equipment. This equipment is still working today, after 10 years of operation.
