Design and creation of a multitouch table presentation on the Mazagan urban center
The Société d’Aménagement et de Développement de Mazagan (SAEDM S.A) is heading the development of Pôle Urbain de Mazagan (PUMA).
The SAEDM asked Reciproque to design and create an app for an interactive table exploring the urban development project for the urban center Mazagan, presented at the 2018 MIPPIM in Cannes, France.
The town-planning study was conducted by the firm Oualalou+Choi (O+C), who provided Reciproque with all the 3D models of the topography, road networks, and of the site’s plot plan and buildings.
On the interactive table, users are able to see a model of the city and the surrounding land as well as a representation of the vegetation. They can select all of the objects and access a fact sheet describing each operation through a highly intuitive interface. The app is also accessible on an Android tablet or iPad.
