reciproque assisted the Bel group in developing a multimedia tour and setting up the related audiovisual equipment at the new Maison de la Vache qui Rit.

What’s triangular, 85 years old, sports an iconic smile and wears fractal earrings? The adventure of the famous soft wedged cheese began in 1921, in a village near Lons-Le-Saunier in France’s Jura region. Today, 10 million portions of La Vache qui Rit are consumed daily. The brand boasts international recognition, sponsors sports events and continues to pursue its culinary conquest of the globe. The Bel group decided to build a cultural centre in its initial 1926 factory to tell the famous cow’s tale. This became the Maison de la Vache qui Rit, inaugurated on May 15th, 2009, open to the public on May 21st.

At the Maison, the brand demonstrates its usual creativity, offering visitors a chance to invent the future of the famous red cow in a technological, environmentally-respectful building. Inside the 1,500 m² exhibition space, design objects, parodies, heritage films, cult objects, video games and multimedia tours are presented for all ages.
